Important Safety Notice of Recall

 

In voluntary cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, W. P. Appliances, Inc. is recalling this Wolfgang Puck Reversible Tri-Grill/Griddle, model number BRTGG010.

The model number is located on an ETL/Intertek label underneath the front of the unit.  The stainless steel grills/griddles have “Wolfgang Puck Bistro Collection” stamped on the front next to the control dials.  They feature a stainless steel handle used to compress the top and bottom grill plates.

The Home Shopping Network (“HSN”) sold these products nationwide through HSN’s telephone ordering system or online at HSN.com for about 1 week from April 30, 2011 through May 6, 2011 for about US$99.
Problem: The appliance could potentially cause a shock hazard as well as an overheating hazard.

Please discontinue use of your Wolfgang Puck Reversible Tri-Grill Griddle and do the following:

Ensuring that your appliance is unplugged and
cut the cord near the plug end.

Remove rating label located underneath the
front of the appliance.
Wrap rating label around cut cord.
Discard appliance after you have cut the cord and removed rating label.

To assist consumers, W.P.Appliances, Inc has established a toll- free number, 1-855-666-0478 also, the company will send prepaid return mailing cartons to grill owners.

In exchange for your return of the above items, you will receive a full refund check from W. P. Appliances, Inc. for the price you paid (which includes sales tax and shipping and handling).  You should receive the check approximately 4-6 weeks from receipt by W. P. Appliances of this appliance.
